Born in Milan, Cristina graduated with honors in International Relations from the University of Milan and later obtained a Postgraduate Master in Diplomacy from the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). A strong interest in public affairs led her to Brussels, where she worked first as Policy Assistant and then as Policy Officer for the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA), dealing with EU legislation on energy and environment. Cristina joined UTOPIA in January 2019, working mainly on topics related to innovation. Passionate about Anglo-Saxon culture, before starting University she decided to perfect her knowledge of English through a one-year working experience in the United States. Cristina has been teaching Irish dancing for more than 10 years and loves travelling back to the Emerald Isle every chance she gets.
